Lawrencevill PD Motorcycle Competition medals

Motor Officers from the Lawrenceville, GA, Police Department participated in the first Motorcycle Competition in the Georgia Police and Fire Games riding 2001 Harley Dynas. Sgt. Byers received teh Silver medal for overall best rider and Silver medal for the Road King division. Motor Officer Tim Wallis won the Gold medal for overall best rider and Gold medal for the Road King division. Motor Officer Hydrick was the only motor officer in the competition that made two complete clean runs on the course.

Sgt. Herman B. Rellar (Ret.) has been a lifelong motorcycle rider who helped to form the Motorcycle Traffic Safety Unit for the Contra Costa Co. Office of the Sheriff back in 1997. Sergeant Rellar entered law enforcement with a local police agency in 1956 and moved to the Office of the Sheriff in 1959. During his career, Sgt. Rellar's assignments included the then contract city of Pleasant Hill, Director of Reserves, Patrol Sergeant, Coroners Investigator, Criminal Investigator, Polygraph Examiner and Detention Division. Officer Duke Kornsuwan from the Lauderhill, FL, Police Department. After finishing his term of service with the U.S. Army in 1991, Officer Kornsuwan began his law enforcement career as a Federal Police Officer serving on the Seminole Indian Reservation. He Joined the Lauderhill PD in 1994 and has worked as a Patrol Officer, DUI Investigator, and is a certified Field Training Officer. He is currently assigned to the Traffic Division as a Motorcycle Officer and Traffic Homicide Investigator.

David Tanquery, Santa Clara

Police Officer David Tanquary has lived in Santa Clara all of his life. He has always wanted to be a Police Officer. Dave attended Mitty High School, then graduated from San Jose State University. Officer Tanquary has been with the PD for 12 years. Currently Dave is working as a Motorcycle Officer and is also a member of the SWAT team.

Craig Davis from the city of Midwest City, Oklahoma rebuilt this 1982 KZ1000P after it was decommissioned in 1997, and turned it into a drag bike to help fight drug and alcohol abuse in the community.
