Product Update

A few days ago we received word from Federal Signal that they would be completely replacing their Cuda line of boxes with products that incorporate their new Solaris reflector technology and enhanced optics. All their new LED boxes will be Plug-And-Play for installation in minutes, and will be available with or without the Impaxx S/T/T LED's you see on the lid in the following photo... Man, I bet that sucker puts out some SERIOUS light to the back of the bike!!!

Federal Signal's long-standing Cuda line of LED's must now make way for the next generation of technology... Their newest "Solaris" reflector technology, upgraded lensing, and some of the brightest LED's on the market are integrated into the new family of motorcycle products: The Impaxx, ViperEXT, and QuadraFlare LED's. We've probably all seen the hard fairing lowers on Ultra-Glides and sighed, wishing someone made a version that would accomodate a siren speaker and engine guard lights. Well...

As we continue to work on improving the quality of our products here at Squad-Fitters, we are finding new ways to make our radio boxes in particular easier to use and install. We are essentially looking to make our boxes "plug-and-play," to the point where you could hand a random person off the street a Harley-Davidson police motorcycle and one of our boxes, and they would be able to install the box on the motorcycle in less than fifteen minutes, without the aid of instuctions.

In the recent past, 911EP has focused primarily on automotive lighting products, but they have decided to begin actively targeting the police motorcycle lighting market and they asked us to develop a kit for the Harley-Davidson using their new Galaxy base modules. The new Galaxy base modules are some of the brightest LED's we've seen to date, and we are excited to see what motor officers think of the kit...

While George and Big Bill were in Ohio at the Enforcement Expo, Rudy Project had a booth directly adjacent to them, and after about six hours of hearing a wooden hammer suddenly and unexpectedly slam down on lens material, they had to ask what the deal was. As it turns out, many of the more popular Rudy Project glasses are made of a lens material they call ImpactX, and the material is guaranteed to be unbreakable for life.
