As you can see from the motor and our billing records, we have been "connected " for many years.

This shot was taken at the edge of a local sports field at the State of Maine's largest single sporting event, the Region I Soccer Tournament where teams competed from 13 states.

What was unique, and you can see the other motors, was that is was the first time, according to national officials, motors were used to actually go onto the fields for assistance and crowd control.

Our little Town of about 10,000 hosted this event that brought 15,000 participants, coaches, family members, and support staff for a five day period.

Motors saved the day(s) as we would have been over run with traffic issues and calls for service.

Our motor program started in 1996 with our first Road King. The unit is assigned to me and over the years I have continually optioned our lease bikes for safety, officer control, and thinking outside the box for extended use, both for length of shift and inclement weather. The last several years our local dealer has allowed us to use Electra Glides which offer great ease in installation of radios, radar, lighting, etc.

This has been a terrific supplement to our patrol units and as the traffic officer / accident investigator, the motor has helped make this department shine in the eyes of the public.

Of course the best benefit is...... they actually pay me to do this!

You can notice I had my graphics guy cut out your corporate decal and insert our shoulder patch in the Eagle's Talons; a subtle but nice touch.
