Signal Mirror

Every year there are over 300,000 lane-changing and merging traffic accidents. Over 700 of these result in fatalities. Signal Mirrors from Muth help prevent these accidents because they are positioned at the eye level of adjacent drivers making them more noticeable than conventional tail lights. Signal Mirrors use LED lamps which illuminate faster than conventional tail lights. This provides drivers in the “blind spots” of the Signal Mirror equipped bike an improved reaction distance of 17 feet at 65 M.P.H. For the H-D and Kawasaki, each kit comes complete with one left and one right hand Signal Mirror housing assembly with wire, connectors, and installation instructions. The existing mirror housings are completely replaced. (Please note for 1996-2002 H-D’s, an adapter is needed that is purchased separately.) Professional installation is recommended. The BMW kit is a mirror glass replacement with wiring harness and instructions included. Mirror housing and stem are made from chromed billet aluminum. Forward-facing (only available with H-D or Metric kit) flashes amber in color, Signal Mirror flashes red chevron.
