ST1300P Rear Saddlebag Guards

These high quality, American-made saddlebag guards provide basic roll-over protection as well as mounting points for lights, radar antenna, and shotgun rack. As with all saddlebag guards, they are designed to provide basic no-speed or low-speed roll-over protection for the vehicle and are NOT intended to prevent personal injury.

Saddlebag opening is restricted, though adequate, after installation of bars. Retainer strap should be shortened to prevent bag doors from hitting bars when opened. Saddlebags are still removeable after installation of bars.

Two steel plates integrated into the rear, lower tail guard provide adequate room for mounting lights while retaining the original license plate mounting position. Although these plates were designed around Code 3 lights, they have no holes drilled to allow the end user maximum flexibility.

Although installation is fairly straightforward, we recommend installation be performed by experienced and/or otherwise qualified personnel.
